(1512 Lynfield Ave., Moon Township, PA 15108; This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) I am currently working in the DC area for a government contractor doing law enforcement and homeland security analysis, after going back to school to obtain a Master's degree at Mercyhurst College in 2009. Not married and no kids yet, due to my numerous relocations over the years: Pittsburgh, Pa; Charleston, SC; Oakland, Calif.; Erie, Pa.; and Washington DC. It's been a crazy ride. I still play hockey weekly and remember the great times I had Ohio State on a regular basis.

(8563 Evergreen Trail, Olmsted Falls, OH 44138; This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) Hope all is well with Ohio Zeta!! Thank you for the outreach. I am currently living in Cleveland, Ohio. I work for DHS/TSA as a Transportation Security Inspector for Aviation. Basically, I work with the airports, air carriers, and flight schools to ensure they are compliant with Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations and their various security programs. Additionally, we follow up issues of non-compliance with corrective action ranging from simple counseling to substantial civil penalties. So, all in all it is an interesting gig and no two days are the same!

I graduated from OSU in 2004 with my B.A. in Criminology. I chose PDT b/c we were the baddest house on campus! No one screwed with us then cause if you did, you had 50 guys standing on your porch! Truly, we looked out for each other and forged strong bonds of true friendship that have lasted since graduation. The two guys truly instrumental in me joining the house were Brian Gerschutz (my big) and Sean Carano...

Currently, I am living the bachelor lifestyle as my former girlfriend and I split up about 6 months ago.. not to put a downer in this story, it's the best thing that has happened to me! Haha...

Anyways, I am about to board a flight bound for Frankfurt, Germany! Gonna travel around Germany, Austria, and Italy with some friends I met there 14 years ago. Should be an adventure for sure! The highlight of the trip is going to be Oktoberfest in Munich!!

So, in closing, I hope and have faith that Ohio Zeta is in great hands! Hopefully Roemer is still kicking and being... uh... Roemeresqe!! Haha... if he is still there you know exactly what I mean! Tell him that the next bottle of potato vodka is on me next time I head that way!

Mike Bochnovich and Teddy Jenkins on a ski trip in January, 2012.

This January I went out to Colorado to see Brother Teddy Jenkins and some other good friends. It was great to catch up on old Phi Delt Times and have fun. I am still running my own financial practice in Cincinnati and am currently looking for new advisors to join my team. I also run the internship program in Cincinnati for Northwestern Mutual. I am expecting a baby girl in May 2012 and couldn't be more excited. Being Greek and being in Phi Delta gives you a big advantage in the business world. There are many business owners and professionals I have been able to meet just because of PDT.

Class of 2029

Logan Gabriel Carano was born at 7:32 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007. At 8 lbs, 12 oz. and 21" long he surprised both his mother and I (but mostly his mother), as neither of us are big people, as most of my brothers at 1942 Iuka will probably attest.

Both Logan and Leslie are doing well, and we're all eagerly awaiting the Big Ten-SEC rematch in the BCS National Championship Game on January 7. Go Bucks!

I always enjoy re-connecting w/ Phi Delta Theta, as the organization gave me some of the greatest memories throughout college. Here is a little synopsis of what I've been up to:

As a professional musician and educator within Los Angeles, CA for the past six years. I graduated from OSU in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology, and I have worked in a variety of industries, interesting occupations, and international destinations. One could say that I haven't had a very linear career path, but I feel that there aren't many occupations that follow a 'straight path' these days. As a musician, I have worked on Carnival Cruiseline as a piano bar entertainer, and I also performed jazz music on the international ship, MS The World of ResidenSea. It is considered to be the most environmentally friendly ship in the entire cruising industry, and I met many interesting and affluent residents during my stay on the ship. After making my musical exodus to Los Angeles, I have had the chance to work with interesting professionals in various settings. Musically, I have taught piano to children of various celebrities, recorded on various albums and movie scores, and had the chance to work with various groups such as Corey Feldman's Truth Movement, AURA, and Andre Comeau's River Rouge. When I'm not producing music, I am working on my own personal educational music program called, "Rocker Science." As a result of my professional endeavors in the educational system, I was awareded the LAUSD "Silver Apple Award." Recently, I have had the chance to attend a Suborbital Aeronautical Teacher Workshop in the Mojave Desert. There, I was able to fly in a glider with Rick Searfoss, had a meeting with Buzz Aldrin to discuss the future of aeronautical education, and had a chance to tour aerospace industries that are developing the next generation of spacecraft.

I can honestly thank Phi Delta Theta for the values that the brothers have taught me in the realm of discipline, social skills, and determination. Tenacity is the name of the game in attaining one's full potential, and I would like to think that every Phi Delt alumni possesses each of these traits. Thank you.

I'm married (Lori) with two children (Sarah, 19, will be a sophomore at OSU this year) and (Rachel, 14, will be a freshman at New Albany High School). We live in New Albany. I'm President of the New Albany Community Foundation and have my own public affairs consulting business. I recently had lunch with Dick Frankenberg (a pledge class brother of mine), Cal Skaates (also our pledge class brother) and Tim Cellars (a few classes ahead of us). I'd have to dig through boxes to find photos from date parties, Greek Week and other experiences from my fraternity days, but attached is a photo of my wife and two daughters from a recent trip to St. Louis.
